I had plans tonight. For the first time a few months I actually had plans to leave the house. I was heading over to a friend’s house for a girls movie night in. I was excited about it.
Instead I wake up this morning to continuous coughing. I go to give the kids cough medicine only to find them both running fevers. I won’t go into the more disgusting issues of the sickness we are dealing with today.
So no girl’s night out for me. I know the hubby could take care of the kids if I left, but by the end of this day I will be too tired to make it through a movie night. On top of that with the kids running fevers I assume I would just carry along and pass around whatever it is they have.
Sometimes, being a Mommie is just no fun. Especially when this is your view all day.
